No — and that is by design. The Day 3 crossing uses the public Bosphorus ferry — the boats the city itself commutes on — and the hour on the water costs a fraction of any charter. Çay is served on deck as both shores slide past, with the bridges overhead. Your guide rides with you and narrates the shoreline, while your private vehicle meets you at the pier to carry on to Dolmabahçe Palace and Ortaköy. The ferry is the genuinely local hour of the itinerary, and usually its most unexpectedly memorable one. Private yacht charters exist in Istanbul, but we recommend the ferry first.
