It gives two days in Istanbul’s Old City — Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, Topkapı Palace and the Grand Bazaar — two days in Cappadocia, and a full day at Ephesus from a seafront base at Kuşadası. Three domestic flights keep the long distances short, so you spend your time at the sites rather than in transit — no touring day carries more than one flight, and the longest road leg is the one-hour drive from İzmir down to Kuşadası. If you also want the white travertines of Pamukkale, the eight-day version of this route adds a full Pamukkale and Hierapolis day from the same Kuşadası base. For July–August and the Christmas and Easter school holidays, three to six months gives the best choice of hotels and flight times. The exact figure depends on your group size, travel dates and hotel choices — a family of four travelling together pays less per person than a couple, since the private guide and vehicle are shared across the group. You fly. On the morning of Day 5 a private transfer brings you to the airport for the ~1 hour 25 minute flight west to İzmir, and your Aegean driver meets you in the arrivals hall for the one-hour drive down to Kuşadası — about three hours door to door, in place of a full day on the road. The afternoon is free by the sea, and the next morning your guide walks you through Ephesus before the evening flight back to Istanbul. Flying this leg keeps the end of the tour relaxed: you trade the longest drive of the route for an afternoon on the Aegean.

Summer is hot — the Aegean can pass 35°C — but fully workable with early starts and an afternoon by the sea at Kuşadası. Winter is quiet and atmospheric, with Cappadocia often under snow and far fewer visitors at Ephesus.
